There is a NOT TRUE story trending on the internet stating "Ted Nugent Bids $75K For George Zimmerman Gun." Lead Stories debunked an earlier story regaring George Zimmerman and the sale of his "American icon" handgun. This particular NOT TRUE story comes from National Report, a hoax and religious/racist bashing website.

UPDATE: It's being reported but still unconfirmed that Nugent purchased the weapon from Mr. Zimmerman privately and the online sale has been halted.
It should be noted that this one sentence is the ONLY sentence that mentions Ted Nugent throughout the NOT TRUE story. Ted Nugent is well known for speaking his mind on any issue he holds near and dear, but he has NOT purchased George Zimmerman's weapon of choice. And so the "Motor City Madman" rides again.
