Does a photo of an ICE agent show a gold bracelet he stole from a man in Minnesota? No, that's not true: While this photo of an ICE agent appears to be real. It does not provide any evidence that the agent is wearing stolen jewelry. The post includes no specific dates, places or references to official findings, police reports or other evidence of a crime.
The accusation appeared in a post (archived here) published on Facebook by Feminist News on Jan. 29, 2026. It was captioned:
It appears that some ICE agents are stealing from the people they're arresting. This agent was photographed with a gold bracelet that he allegedly took off of a man in Minnesota. The Nazis did this as well. They systematically robbed Jewish people of money, jewelry, documents and other valuables as they loaded them on the trains to the camps. At mass shooting sites such as Babyn Yar near Kyiv, Nazi united documented taking watches, rings, chains and other jewelry from Jews literally as they walked to their deaths. Gold teeth and dental fillings, along with wedding rings and other jewelry, were removed from the bodies of murdered victims and melted down or shipped as bullion, contributing to Nazi gold reserves.Confiscated goods--including gold, cash, art, ritual silver, furniture, clothing, and even human hair--were sorted, sold, or reused to support the German war economy and to enrich Nazi officials and collaborators.Disgusting to see it happening again.
