Fact Check: No Email In Epstein Files With Satoshi Nakamoto Telling Epstein To 'Go F*ck Yourself' Replying To Island Invitation Not Released

Is there an email conversation between Jeffrey Epstein and Satoshi Nakamoto in the released "Epstein Files" that has Nakamoto telling Epstein to "Go fuck yourself"? No, that's not true: A search of the "Epstein library" for the phrase "Dear Jeffey" from a viral image showing the supposed email only returns a single result with a different document. Other details in the image like copy-pasted "To" and "From" lines and a date with the year 1414 in it further prove the image is a fake.

An example of the image of the email appeared in a post on Bluesky on February 1, 2026. This is what the image looked like:

The text in the image read:

To: Satoshi Nakamoto
From: Jeffrey E.
Sent: Epstein. 1414, 10:7:40 AM
Subject: Re: Invitation

Dear Satoshi,
I would be delighted if you could join me on my private island for a discussion on blockchain technology. Please let me know your availability.

To: Satoshi Nakamoto
From: Jeffrey E.
Sent: Epstein. 1414, 10:7:44 AM
Subject: Re: Invitation

Dear Jeffey,
Go fuck yourself.
Regards, Satoshi

A search of the "Epstein Files" via the website of the Department of Justice does show several files containing the name "Satoshi" (archived here).

However a search for the phrase "Dear Jeffey" in the Epstein library made available by the Department of Justice only brings up one result and it is not this email:
