Fact Check: FAKE Image Of Ex Prince Andrew And Meghan Markle -- It's AI AI Slop

Is a grainy image of former Prince Andrew and Meghan Markle in intimate postures authentic? No, that's not true: The image is "99% AI slop," the creator of the image wrote on their X.com account. Blocky pixelations and a faint red ring around the woman's face reinforce what the image-creator said: it's a manufactured picture.

The claim appeared in a February 19, 2026, post on X (archived here). It opened:

So if you're Prince Harry and you realise that yes your uncle Andrew did fuck your wife when she was a prostitute, like what's the play here?

This is what the post looked like on X at the time of writing:

The @GarbageHuman24 account posted a message that clearly admitted that the image was made with AI, writing, "It took what is 99% an AI slop image to break the algo and finally do some numbers for me. Yeah this app is cooked," as this screenshot shows:

Had Prince Harry's wife taken such a photo with the former Prince Andrew, their prominence and his recent legal troubles would have made such an image instantly newsworthy and the image would have been widely available. Lead Stories searched Google and Yahoo! News (archived here and here) and did not find any evidence of the image appearing in real news outlets.

Former Prince Andrew was arrested on February 19, 2026, amid the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, as the New York Times reported (archived here).
