Are social media posts saying that a long list of musicians, actors, and other celebs are each stepping "back into the spotlight" for a "Back to the Heart" or "Back to the Fire" project real? No, that's not true: The false claims originate from AI-generated articles and Facebook posts created by a spam operation managed from Vietnam. Fake fan pages are used to target North American and European Facebook users with nearly identical posts using AI-generated images and naming dozens of entertainers.
Among the false posts Lead Stories found is a post (archived here) shared by the Rock Stage Stories Facebook page on April 26, 2026. The text read:
BREAKING: Bob Seger Returns With "Back to the Fire"
In a moment that feels both rebellious and deeply personal, Bob Seger steps back into the spotlight--not to chase attention, but to tell his truth. "Back to the Fire" digs into the raw, untold chapters of his life, following the road that shaped the man behind the attitude, the scars, and the sound.
This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The Seger post continued:
This isn't just another story about a music icon--it's a look into the spirit behind the songs that fueled generations with grit, defiance, and unapologetic freedom. From the energy of "Old Time Rock and Roll" to the emotion of "Against the Wind," every frame reveals a man who turned chaos into legacy and pain into power.
Insiders call it "less of a documentary, more of a reckoning." Fans are already calling it "Bob Seger like we've never seen him before." And as the smoke clears and the music rises, Bob Seger reminds the world that some voices were never meant to be tamed--they were meant to be heard.
The world waits, wondering:
What truths has Bob Seger never revealed... until now?

The Vietnam connection is significant, since fact-checkers, including Lead Stories, have identified a major source of AI-generated false stories coming from a single operation based in that Southeast Asian country. Recent reporting and fact checks mentioning that country are available here.
Lead Stories has published a primer -- or a prebunk -- on how to identify these kinds of fake posts exported from Vietnam. It is titled "Prebunk: Beware Of Fake Fan Pages Spreading False Stories About Your Favorite Celebrities -- How To Spot 'Viet Spam.'"
