Does a real video show two similar but distinct clips of a pregnant man with his partner showing off his baby bump at a nightclub? No, that's not true: Multiple glitches visible in the two ten-second clips point to both clips having been generated with artifical intelligence. The similar nature of the clips points to AI generation, as does the fact that both are approximately ten seconds long -- the limit for many AI video tools. Reverse image searches for each clip do not bring up individual copies of either clip -- both appeared online at the same time, spliced together, with no context about the people or nightclubs pictured.
The 20-second video appeared in a post (archived here) published by the X account @hertribevibe on July 1, 2026. It is captioned:
This is NOT a pregnant man. This is a female. She will be the mother of the child. I do not agree with this one bit

AI video generation tools have been advancing in recent years and can produce longer clips than in the past, but many free tools are still limited in the duration of the generated videos. A chart on videoai.me published on March 24, 2026 (archived here) lists ten free AI video generating platforms. However, only one of the listed platforms offers a max duration longer than 10 seconds. Taken alone, the length of the clips does not prove they were made with AI.
The two ten-second clips are similar in many ways. Both show an extremely thin, almost emaciated, man who appears to be pregnant. He is wearing a white tank top, grey shorts, and flip-flops. Each man in both clips is brunette and is smiling broadly. In both clips the man's taller brunette partner lifts his tank top to expose both his protruding belly and his flat, hairy chest. In both scenes the man in the white tank top leans blissfully against his partner who rubs his belly while the couple nuzzles or kisses. The dance floors of the crowded nightclubs are black, and the walls in the background are illuminated with colorful lights. The two clips appear to have been generated using the same very specific prompt.
A reverse image search with Google Lens for an "exact match" using the thumbnail image which was derived from the first clip, brought up 28 copies of the 20-second video posted on X, but not a single copy of the first clip alone. A similar search for a screenshot from the second clip found no exact matches (pictured below).

This suggests that the clips do not have a history circulating online individually. When they appeared they were spliced together -- and the X platform is where they are circulating. It appears that @hertribevibe was the first account to publish the clips as one video.
AI-generated content detection tools -- Hive Moderation, Google Gemini, and OpenAI -- did not find evidence that the video was AI-generated, but this does not mean the video is real. The following GIFs of details in the scenes show glitches which point to the clips having been generated with an AI tool.
In the first clip, at eight seconds, a man in white shorts is holding a glass of beer in his right hand. The beer vanishes suddenly and he combs his fingers through his hair.

In the second clip there is a woman in the crowd wearing a purple halter top. She moves from the left side of the frame to the right and back to the left. Her shoes morph as she moves: sometimes they appear to be flip-flops and other times they appear to be slingback sandals. In the GIF below her left foot is wearing a flip-flop. As her right foot moves the slingback appears across her heel.

At the end of the second clip there is a mysterious arm. This GIF has been slowed down. A shiny anomaly appears for a split second at the elbow of the arm, almost like a gold bracelet or a purse strap -- it vanishes in an unnatural way. The hand reaches out and rests on the shoulder of a man in a black shirt. The fingers elongate and deform in an impossible way.
