Lead Stories searched Google News and Yahoo News for the phrase, "Dijonai Carrington Sophie Cunningham wig assault" and did not find any matching results of Carrington on video saying Cunningham should be charged with assault for trying to pull off her wig. The search did find a report on People.com of Carrington being ejected from the Aug. 8, 2026, game after fouling Cunningham and posting a message on her Threads account @dijonai that read "WHITE PRIVILEGE."
