Did former U.N. Ambassador and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley say she wants to bring Palestinian refugees to the United States? No, that's not true: Haley called the claim "a total lie" on her official X account. Also, no credible evidence shows that she ever made such a statement or supported that stance.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) by the @JohnFromCranber account on X on Sept. 12, 2026. It read:

Haley responded directly to the claim in a post (archived here) on her X account (@NikkiHaley) on Sept. 14, 2026. It read:
This is a total lie. People make sh*t up for clicks. Pathetic.

In an Oct. 15, 2023, interview (archived here) with CNN's Jake Tapper, Haley defended some Palestinians, but did not support bringing them to the United States. She said:
There are so many of these people who want to be free from this terrorist rule; they want to be free from all of that, and America has always been sympathetic to the fact that you can separate civilians from terrorists, and that's what we have to do.
In the same interview, Haley went on to say that any refugees should be the responsibility of countries closer to Gaza. On Oct. 16, 2023, in a follow-up response, a spokesperson for Haley's campaign told RealClearPolitics that the former South Carolina governor "opposes the U.S. taking Gazans" and said she backed a plan to keep Palestinians in the region, according to Breitbart (archived here).
