Did Fox News call the Georgia Senate race for Stacey Abrams on Nov. 3, 2026? No, that's not true: "This is not a real image and did not air on FOX News," a spokesperson for the network told Lead Stories. Abrams is not running for Senate in Georgia and is not on the ballot in 2026. The account that posted the claim is a self-described satire account.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) by the @DschlopesIsBack account on X on Nov. 3, 2026. It read:

Lead Stories contacted FOX News for a comment and a spokesperson responded in a Nov. 3, 2026, email to Lead Stories:
This is not a real image and did not air on FOX News.
The major-party nominees for U.S. Senate in Georgia in the 2026 general election are Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff and Republican Rep. Mike Collins. The Associated Press is tracking the race between the incumbent, Ossoff, and the challenger, Collins (archived here).
Abrams is not on the ballot in 2026. She was on the campaign trail in 2026 for other candidates, as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported (archived here) in an article titled "Stacey Abrams is back on the campaign trail, just not for herself," on Nov. 3, 2026.
The @DschlopesIsBack post was published at about 6:57 a.m. ET on Election Day, roughly 12 hours before polls in Georgia were scheduled to close at 7 p.m. The Associated Press, which thousands of news outlets rely on for race calls, says it will not call a race before the polls in a jurisdiction are scheduled to close.
Lead Stories searched Google News and Yahoo News (archived here) and did not find any reports that Fox News declared Abrams the winner of the 2026 Georgia Senate race.
